TAKING NATURAL STONE WALLS INSIDE

TAKING NATURAL STONE WALLS INSIDE

Gone are the days where natural stone was exclusively used for kitchen counters, backsplashes or bathroom vanities. Natural stones such as sandstone and marble are incredibly versatile and prove to be a great application as walls: all it takes is the right color scheme, good lightening, and some eye-catching details.

Natural stone walls can accentuate a variety of furnishings and suit any design aesthetic that you have in mind: Rustic, industrial, maximalistic, etc. Depending on your preferences you can incorporate them into living rooms, bedrooms or innovative ways in the kitchen and bathroom.

Here are a few examples on how we would incorporate natural stones as interior walls in residential projects:

Sandstone walls for your living room and bedrooms.

Bright and warm colors are an amazing choice for spaces where we wish to unwind. Sandstone, especially creates a sense of earthy and home ambience making it the perfect choice to incorporate in spaces meant for relaxation. For a little extra rustic charm, you can pair it with dimmed or indirect lighting.

Marble kitchen luxury

Marble has always been associated with wealth and prestige and has been used in professional kitchens as a countertop due to its properties. But because of its diverse color spectrum, and smooth and shiny surface it is also ideal for wall cladding. For that industrial chic look, pair it with precious metals such as rosé gold or silver to bring a sophisticated feel to your home.

An indulgent quartzite bathroom

Quartzite brings chromatic and visual diversity into any room, it is often chosen when we want to imprint personality using both bold colors and natural stones. It is a great choice for a bold bathroom, especially because it is  resistant to abrasion, stains, and chemical peels.
